Women and fashion, they have been tied together for generations; making statements, careers, headlines and the big screen. This is my take on the empowering women and the fashion they wear…
Last weekend me and my friends headed out to Groovin the Moo, Canberra and had a great time, we got to see bands like San Cisco, 360, Hilltop Hoods and Kimbra (plus many more). I always loved festival fashion, as I see it as an oppertunity to expred your self in a very different way. There is no need for formality or pressure so people let go and allow themselves to be emersed in the culture that gathers at music festivals.
In today’s modern society people’s fashion and style have been increasingly influenced by local designers and fashion on the street. I believe that fashion is an important part of society, it influences people’s moods, personality and culture. In this way fashion cultivates our community and allows us to see other people and our selves in a completely different way.
To keep an eye on the street fashion of Canberra and be in captivated by the way it will effect you and the people around you, then keep an eye on the this blog.
